Starlink Rental Packages – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the rental and use of Starlink equipment and related services (“Service”) provided by River Valley IT Solutions LLC (“Provider,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By renting or using our equipment and services, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to these Terms.


1. Service Provided

1.1. We provide Starlink satellite internet equipment (“Equipment”) for rental under various service packages as advertised.
1.2. The rental includes use of the Equipment and internet connectivity during the rental term.
1.3. Equipment remains the sole property of River Valley IT Solutions LLC and must be returned in good condition upon cancellation or termination.


2. Client Responsibilities

2.1. Proper Use – You agree to use the Equipment and Service only for lawful purposes.
2.2. Location of Use – Equipment may only be used at the service address or location agreed upon. Relocation requires our prior approval.
2.3. Account Security – You are responsible for any activity conducted through your connection.
2.4. No Resale – You may not resell, sublease, or share the Service for commercial gain without our written consent.


3. Payments and Fees

3.1. Pricing – Rental fees are based on the package selected and billed monthly.
3.2. Late Payments – Accounts unpaid after 14 days may be suspended or terminated, and Equipment must be returned immediately. Extension available upon request.
3.3. Non-Refundable Charges – Monthly rental fees are non-refundable once service has begun.


4. Equipment Care and Damages

4.1. Client Responsibility – You are responsible for the care and safekeeping of the Equipment while it is in your possession.
4.2. Prohibited Actions – You may not modify, tamper with, or attempt to repair the Equipment.
4.3. Loss or Damage – If Equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond normal wear and tear, you agree to pay the replacement cost of $[Insert Replacement Value] per unit (or actual repair costs if applicable).
4.4. Return of Equipment – Equipment must be returned within 14 days after service termination in the same condition it was provided, normal wear and tear excepted. Failure to return Equipment will result in replacement charges.


5. Service Availability

5.1. Performance – Internet speeds and availability may vary based on location, weather, or Starlink’s network operations. We make no guarantees of uninterrupted service.
5.2. Maintenance – Scheduled or emergency maintenance may temporarily affect service availability.


6. Termination

6.1. By Client – You may terminate your rental agreement at any time by providing [30 days] written notice and returning the Equipment.
6.2. By Provider – We may suspend or terminate Service if you:

  • Fail to pay rental fees when due.
  • Breach these Terms.
  • Misuse or damage the Equipment.
    6.3. Effect of Termination – Upon termination, you must return all Equipment promptly. Replacement fees will apply if Equipment is not returned or is returned damaged. See section 4.4.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of connectivity, business interruption, or data loss.
7.2. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the rental fees paid in the last three (3) months.


8. Indemnification

8.1. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or damage to Equipment.


9. Modifications to Terms

9.1. We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.


10. Governing Law

10.1. These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of Dolphin County, PA, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Harrisburg, PA, USA.
